Ride route:

Ramnagar, Bavdhan meet up 0550 am -> Ride starts at 0600 am -> Pashan Circle -> University Circle -> Range Hills -> Kirkee War Cemetery -> Vishrantwadi -> Dighi -> Alandi Temple Complex -> Head back  -> right turn towards Dehu road  -> cycle upto Dehu road temple complex -> Dehu road phata -> Old Pune Mumbai road -> Balewadi -> Bavdhan.

Description:

A Pilgrimage Destination of sorts close to our beloved city. Let's ride to peaceful destinations this Sunday.

It’s a 75kms moderate paced ride with a couple of stops for regroups, photo ops and a couple of chay stops. The route is predominantly flat with smooth wide roads for most of the part. There is bound to be heavy traffic along the route. It’s a unique experience to pay homage on cycles to a place of faith while pedaling to happiness!!!

Please carry spare tubes, a personal puncture repair kit, at least 2 liters of water, some snacks like biscuits and/ or dry fruits for energy and some glucose powder/ tablets. In addition to this, it’s advisable to carry a rain jacket and a plastic pouch for wallets and phones in case of rain.

Total time taken for the ride will be somewhere close to 5 hours, since we will be taking breaks for regroups, having conversations, spending some time at the temple complex and clicking some great pictures, in addition to breaks that occur due to rains or anything else.

Kindly note that there will be no back up vehicle. It’s a self-supported ride.

We will be a group of 30 cyclists max. So please confirm your seats at the earliest!
