Event Name: Independence Day Ride

Ride route:

Dbyk, Bavdhan meet up 0550 am -> Ride starts at 0600 am sharp_Ryan International Ambrosia_Bhugaon -> Manas Climb -> Pirangut top -> Regroup 01. Climb down Urawade -> Climb up Mutha -> Regroup and tea break_Climb down Mutha_Ride towards Temghar -> Ride up to Temghar dam view point -> National Anthem _breakfast -> Return via the same route.

Note: Live location will be shared once the ride starts in case anyone is late to join. They can catch up with the batch enroute since we will be moving at an easy pace.

Description:

As we enter the 77^th year of Independence, let's ride as a tribute to all the martyrs who fought for it and gave us an Independent and a Free nation!!! It's also a good occasion to ‘free yourself’ from the fear of attempting tough rides!!!!

It’s a 70+ kms moderate paced ride with a couple of stops for regroups, photo ops and a light breakfast with the occasional tea break!! The terrain is predominantly rolling with 2 major climbs, Mutha ghat both ways and smaller climbs like Urawade, Temghar, Manas etc. It’s a tiring ride for sure, but what better opportunity to push your limits on Independence Day!!!

Please carry spare tubes, a personal puncture repair kit, at least 2 liters of water, some snacks like biscuits and/ or dry fruits for energy and some glucose powder/ tablets. In addition to this, it’s advisable to carry a rain jacket and a plastic pouch for wallets and phones in case of rain.

Total time taken for the ride will be somewhere close to 6 hours, since we will be taking breaks for regroups, a light breakfast, having conversations and clicking some great pictures, in addition to breaks that occur due to rains or anything else. We also will be singing the National Anthem at the Temghar dam to make this a memorable Independence Day celebration.

We will be a group of 25 cyclists max. So please book your seats at the earliest!
