The Vino Velo - Edition 5

In December 2024, the fifth edition of La Vino Velo - The Nasik Wine Hop combined two passions that rarely meet: cycling and wine tasting. Set against the backdrop of the majestic Trimbakeshwar mountain ranges, riders covered 225 kilometers over two and a half days, weaving through Maharashtra's wine country. This unique "wine hop on a cycle" adventure saw participants pedaling along rolling terrain and scenic backwaters, with each day's 70-80 kilometer journey culminating at prestigious wineries for tastings and tours. The route showcased the region's diverse landscape, from the serene dam backwaters to the challenging climbs typical of Maharashtra's terrain, offering riders a perfect blend of athletic challenge and epicurean pleasure in India's premier wine region.
