The Bajirao (Edition 2)
Long ToursIn July 2024, the second edition of The Bajirao ride paid homage to the legendary Peshwa Bajirao I through an epic 300-kilometer cycling journey from his birthplace in Dubere, Maharashtra, to his final resting place in Raverkhedi, Madhya Pradesh. This historical tribute saw riders tracing the footsteps of the great warrior across two states, crossing three major Indian rivers and traversing diverse terrains from smooth highways to challenging ghats. The three-day expedition demanded riders to complete back-to-back centuries (100+ km rides), while also allowing them to explore the cultural richness of Maheshwar and Mandu. Following the Peshwa's path, cyclists experienced the changing landscapes of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, connecting the past with the present through the power of pedaling.
